Who we are as a Lancaster insulation contractor
Who started this business, how we work in your attic, and what you can check about us before you call.

How I came to start this business
I spent my first years in insulation with a big commercial company, working on office buildings, warehouses and metal buildings. On those jobs every stage got checked before anything was closed in, because once a ceiling or wall is covered, nobody goes back to look. That's the habit I brought home to houses when I started working as an insulation contractor in Lancaster in 2013.
Most of our calls still come from Lancaster homeowners with a high power bill or a room that never feels right, plus some building owners and property managers. We're best known for attic work, air sealing and spray foam, and you can see the rest of what we do on our home page. What I care about most is doing the job in the right order, so nothing gets buried that should have been fixed first, and making sure you understand what you're paying for before we start.
What you can count on from us
Each step gets checked before it's covered
Before anything new goes in, we pull out old insulation that's soaked or full of droppings and close the gaps around lights, pipes and the attic hatch, because new material laid over a problem just hides it. We keep the eave vents open and build the edges up as deep as the middle, so your attic can still breathe.
The person who looks is the person who plans
I come out for the estimate myself and plan the job from what I see in your attic, so what we agree on is what the crew does. A longtime crew lead runs the work with our installers, I check in along the way, and I walk the finished job with you.
A straight answer, even if it's a smaller job
Foam costs more and seals air while it insulates, but sealing the gaps and topping up blown-in insulation, loose fill blown through a hose, usually does the job unless your ductwork runs through the attic. If a smaller fix makes more sense, or your job isn't a good fit for us, I'll tell you so and won't push.
Our licenses and permits
Serving Lancaster and 8 surrounding cities
Licensed and insured for work in Lancaster
We're fully licensed and insured. The City of Lancaster requires anyone doing business inside city limits to hold a city business license, and a contractor has to have one on file before the city will issue a permit.
Permits pulled before work starts
The city's Building & Safety division issues permits for work that changes or adds value to your property, and only to an owner who lives there, a properly licensed contractor or an authorized agent of either. When your job needs one, we handle the application and meet the inspector, working with whichever city or county office covers your address.
